Montana Proud: Made, Grown & Native

The State of Montana supports local businesses through three official programs that help consumers easily identify authentic, locally connected products:

• Made in Montana: This label is for products that are manufactured or significantly transformed within Montana. Ingredients may come from elsewhere, but the final product is created here—supporting local jobs, craftsmanship, and small businesses.

• Grown in Montana: This designation is reserved for agricultural products that are raised or grown in Montana, such as meat, dairy, grains, and produce. It ensures the food comes directly from Montana land and producers.

• Native Made in Montana: This program highlights products that are made by enrolled tribal members or Native-owned businesses within Montana. It honors Indigenous culture, heritage, and entrepreneurship while supporting Native communities.

Our in house value-added products are proudly registered under the Made in Montana and Grown in Montana programs. Together, with the help of these programs, we’ve connected consumers to trusted, local products while strengthening Montana’s economy, agriculture, and cultural heritage.
